According to Vogue, more than ever before social media has played a hand in the list. Bella Hadid, who scored ninth place, earned $6 million owing to sponsored Instagram posts for the likes of Nike, Dior and Nars, as well as campaign contracts. It is the first time in 15 years that Gisele Bundchen did not claim the top spot. In 2016 Jenner was placed No.4 with $10 million. Cara Delevingne, Candice Swanepoel and Miranda Kerr who were in the top ten in 2016 have been ousted this year.
